Iran Lashes Out At U.S. Plan To Sell Arms To Saudi Arabia

Tehran, Iran (AHN) - The Islamic Republic of Iran on Monday lashed out against Washington's decision to sell arms to Saudi Arabia, blasting the offer for spreading fears and worries in the Middle East.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mohammad Ali Hosseini said, "The region needs peace, stability and security, the United States has always had special policy of spreading fear in the region and tarnishing existing good relations among countries in this region."

"The U.S. is trying to disturb it by selling weapons to the region," he added.

Iran's statement came as U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice starts her key regional tour in the Middle East aimed at uniting American allies against Iran, Syria and Hezbollah. Rice declares Iran as the biggest threat in the region.

Early this week, the U.S. announced of a planned arms deal with Saudi Arabia amounting to $20 billion.

Rice met with Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa and both leaders discussed the Iraqi and Lebanon situation. Rice, who is traveling with U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates, will also be meeting Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Arab ministers at the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh.

She said, "The United States is determined to assure our allies that we are going to be reliable in helping them to meet their security needs. We have a lot of interests in common in this region: in the fight against terrorism and extremism; in protecting the gains of peace processes of the past and in extending those gains to peace processes of the future."

In Ireland, Rice told reporters, "There isn't a doubt, I think, that Iran constitutes the single most important, single-country challenge to... U.S. interests in the Middle East and to the kind of Middle East that we want to see."

It’s the fault of theU.S. that there’s no peace in the Middle East??? Perhaps we should just follow their lead... yeah... that would bring peace!

We shouldn’t sell arms to Saudi Arabia? I suppose Iran would rather we just give away arms instead, as Iran is doing with their miscreants in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza.

Ya know, with my vast amount of geopolitical skills and my keen insight of the middle east this was exactly my first response but obviously I must be mistaken...

The Iranian leaders have taught the Koranic demand for Jihad.
The Iranian leaders have prepared for Jihad..
The Iranian leaders have called for Jihad.
The Iranian leaders have financed Jihad.
The Iranian leaders have exported Jihad.
The Iranian leaders have ordered Jihad.
The Iranian leaders have celebrated Jihad..
The Iranian leaders have called for the death of America and Israel.

The Iranian people will pay the price for this “Jihad”..
Just as the Germans and Japanese paid the price for their leaders murderous attacks against civilization....

Jihad will lose its appeal, once the Islamists are bathed in their own and their children’s blood.

Looks like we’re hedging our bets on upcoming presidential election, in the event of a Democrat victory Saudi will be well armed for the Iran-Saudi proxy war fought in Iraq.

I thought our presence in the Mideast made more terrorists. Now it turns out our selling arms in the Mideast makes more terrorists. I’m confused.

Iran should have been shut up long ago. But don’t forget who controls the middle east, and thats the Sauds .It also just happens to be where Mecca and Medina are. They place where all these people go once a year which is ordered to them to do this by the Koran. Not to speak of the fact that this last couple weeks has been the lowest of our troops killed in almost a year or 10 months .Coincidence , very possible but still seems weird ?

Most of the 911 were from Suadi Arabia, most of the money donated to terrorist here is Saudi funded .All Saudi schools teach jihad. Something ain’t right in this world and it stinks of an evil allied force of elites. Also this new biofuel all the major oil company's are buying into that will take more oil to refine this veggy fuel than it will save . It also has just as bad emissions as gas . The Saudis are heavy involved in this with Rockefeller ,along with BP,ExonMobile, Shell ,etc. Millions of acres are being used all over the world for this . Our food supply will be depleted and by the time we realize it,these people would have made trillions off it and depleted millions of aces of land here and wold wide. Buy land and get prepared for the worst if what I read is true . Please help me and let me know if you can I’m wrong it has me very depressed .
