Can you understand Russian? I can post an interview from Il-76 waterbomber crews who saved just Serbia a lot of wildfire misery. The crews got local awards in Bulgaria.

In terms of Russian-built airplanes, he said "the Il-76 may be better". This airplane could carry 40 tons of retardant compared to the roughly 10-ton load carried by C-130s.
