O'Reilly has mentioned numerous times that he, in so many words, believes the internet to be a very negative place. It is my impression that he would do away with it if he could.

Still, I'm surprised that he would claim such things are true. I suspect he's either gotten bad information from staff, or misunderstood its origin.

i really do think he was grasping at something to show evenhandedness after going after the KOS so hard, and FR is the preeminent conservative website. Bill has said MANY times he doesn’t even know how to turn the computer on, so he isn’t surfing anywhere himself, all of this has been pointed out to him by others.
