This is stupid, of course. But what they are trying to achieve is deadly serious.

The Green Weenies are trying to silence any voices that oppose them. They are trying to silence FoxNews by going after their advertisers. If they were successful in this, there would be no major media outlet left to question the Green Weenie’s contentions on Global Warming.

If their “science” were not quite so ridiculously transparent, the Green Weenies would not care what FoxNews had to say on the matter. But the fact is that the Emperor has no clothes, and they can’t afford to have anybody pointing out the obvious.

“I blame all this crap on the sixties.”

I feel the same way...that was when our society turned a corner which left us with so many corruptions (free sex, drugs, no responsibility, its all about ME, let it all hang out, victim mentality,on and on and on). The one good thing was racial equality, however embracing killing cops and ho’s in the music(?) arena was not in the best interest of society.

We used to be safe. We used to be decent.

I can’t stand HD. But I did go there yesterday to buy something trivial because of this.

As long as you don’t have to ask any of the “experts” (people too dumb for even Best Buy to hire) anything, it’s ok.

“Do you stock 1-1/4” PVC fittings?” “Uh. We don’t sell mens underwear. Let me call my supervisor.”

Looks like there are only EIGHT protestors. Also appears the photographer was laying on the ground in order to make the people look bigger.

How many people were protesting? If only a handful, HD can tell the to shop some place else. If HD is highly impacted, move the store some place else and let those people find their goods some place else or drive 30 miles to shop at HD.

Notice they are “residents”, as opposed to “workers”, “citizens” or “customers”.

I have a Home Depot right down the street from my home and I will be there Saturday morning for the "kids workshop" to build something with my 3 year old.

On the off chance that there is a group of libs out front, I would like to return after finishing with my 3 year old to stand with them holding a counter protest sign.

Please post suggestions for said sign. I am sure it will help others here as well.

Fortunately* for me, my microwave/vent hood stopped working. Guess where I'm gonna go get a new one, now.

*I'm fortunate because I get to pick a new, high end convection oven/microwave to replace my old microhood.

I would rather not shop at HD because they’re so pro mexican illegal, but Lowes is not much better, and HD is incredibly convenient to my house. Also, I like their automated checkout.

A group of local residents gathered outside a Camarillo home improvement store Tuesday

How big was this group?

Is the number of people who are aggressively, obstreperously wrong about everything actually growing, or does it just seem that way?

That is a very good question. My opinion (FWIW) is that the frequency of wrong-headed individuals is inversely proportional to the quality of public education, and the ferocity of their beliefs is in direct proportion to the depth of their stupidity. That's another way of saying that a lot of people are in fact getting stupider by mis-education, and when presented with opposing viewpoints react not with analysis or interest but with rage.

Try explaining the Laffer Curve to a pit bull, and the response you get will be much the same as it would be from a Liberal: blank eyes, bared teeth, and occasional drooling. The secular religion of Warmingism is particularly given over to mysticism and protestations of heresy among its adherents, many of whom appear in need of a Global Bath.

I think it's a little of both. The MSM is giving these whiners so much attention that it probably seems like everyone is whacked out these days. I suspect, though, that the numbers of kooks like that are not increasing dramatically. There are most likely many more people who shake their heads when they see/read things like this and wonder how these people function on a daily basis.

And though whackiness is getting more MSM attention, it's not totally a bad thing. As Rush has said, they're no longer afraid to show us who they really are because the media makes it look like everyone agrees with them. Their boldness will serve to increase "our" numbers as people start seeking ways to connect with others of like mind.

It was one of five protests held across the nation Tuesday and arranged by the Sierra Club and MoveOn.org.

LOL That says it all. . .just a few moonbats who had nothing to do one day and decided to make themselves feel important for a few minutes by staging a 'protest'. They just had to decide what excuse to use that day.

The Marxist take over of the air ways and more of the government continues. Aided by their loyal Jorge Bushovich.
