LaRouche Libertarians (as apposed to Rand type Libertarians - which Paul isn't.)You've been hanging around _Jim too much.
In light of the fact that LaRouche is a Trotskyite (even though he denies it, his opinions and stated plans have never changed), LaRouche Libertarians is an oxymoron. Libertarians don't like "five year plans".
Ain't no such animal as a "LaRouche Libertarian"!

Certainly, they're smarter than that. They're just hoping other FReepers aren't.

Surely any Presidential candidate would support a person’s right to vulgar speech, especially on their private blog.
Even blasphemousness speech is protected under our first amendment.

If you are talking about our US troops. I support them way more than you ever will. I served proudly in the USMC and so has every male member of my family, including my Dad who fought for 2.5 years in the Pacific in the Marines.
Cute try there Paulnut. That would be five generations in my family, WWI to the present conflict. Some of my family came home in boxes, others like my father ended up losing body parts.
The article is true, so you can shove your protests up whichever of your own oriface(s) are appropriate.
As far as that goes, Ron Paul wasn't a draft dodger like Rudi and Romney.

I like this line better than the previous one. Say, were you referring to these two?

Paul keeps getting smeared only because of this position on the Iraq war. All the other reasons he has had for a long time without the guns of the pro-war crowd blazing away at him. In case no one has noticed, anyone against the Iraq war on this site is more than disagreed with, his name must be utterly destroyed.
The same crowd that does this is the same one that says 'well we need to stay until the job is done'or 'we can't cut and run'. I still have not read a well thought out post on FR that points out what exactly 'the job is done' means. Saddam is dead, his sons are dead, Iraq had 'free' elections, they have a 'governemnt', they have a 'democracy', we are giving them billions upon billions of dollars, and now for the past few years our military is being used as state troopers/crowd control/law enforcement patrols.
Theres nothing else to do for Iraq. The ball has to be put in their hands. We did all that we can do. The problem is that the Iraqi governemnt has been conditioned by the US and is now basically dependant on out presence- meaning that there is probably no way of our troops to begin leaving there before 2010.
What we need to do is to tell Maliki that 'you have 120 days to get your stuff in order, because we are going to begin leaving'.

Good for her. If he does well in Iowa in a few weeks, then I think we’ll be seeing more of him. Some media big shots have come out for Ron. Robert Novak endorsed him. George Will says he’s running the only intellectual campaign.
Paul Weyrich and Richard Viguerie both like him. He’s the only true Reaganite running.

Zawahiri and OBL have said that Iraq is the front line in the war of terror. Guess you missed that one huh? al Qaeda is in Iraq fighting. If we cut and run like the surrender monkey Ron Paul wants, we will be surrendering to al Qaeda. Does not take a genius to figure that one out. I know I am talking to a Paulnut, so I know you can’t put the pieces together like OBL and al Qaeda have said themselves many times.

No, I am affraid most of them are not. A lot of them get their daily brainwashing from Hannity and then come here and regurgitate everythign that he said.
A number of the people that make fun of Ron Paul are also the same that make fun of Michael Savage. A lot of the screen names in the bash-Savage threads are the same in the bash-Paul threads. Expect Savage to top Hannity in nationwide ratings within the next 2 years.

Excellent point. We may never see small government again. That should sadden all Conservatives on both sides of the aisle.
Keep up the good fight.

Well, one thing's certain: we'll never see it again if we won't vote for it and demand that our candidates toe the Reagan-Gingrich line.
If not in the primaries, then just when will we pin down these slippery congresscritters and other political varmints?

I was trying to be nicer than saying John Birch Libertarian.Lots of people, even those who don't support Ron Paul wouldn't consider that to be an insult.
A little bit off subject, but interesting:
Back about 1993, i picked up this old paperback book called Inside the John Birch Society written by a CBS employee named Gene Grove.
The book was a hate-filled 'expose' of the Society.
In this one section, Grove outlined the JBS statement of the 'goals' of the Communist operatives in the United States.
Every single one of them had in fact come to pass by the time i got around to reading the book. The book was written in 1961.
i am not a member of the John Birch Society, and i doubt that (based on what is known of the man's politics) that John Birch would have been a member of the society. However, i'm not willing to call them names. If i can dig up the book, i'll post particulars one of these days. i did however notice that the book can be found with a Google search.

Zawahiri and OBL have said that Iraq is the front line in the war of terror. i happen to believe that OBL in a cave in Tora Bora slowly being converted to worm shit, and has been since 2k1, but if you want to believe that he's alive fine with me.
And if that's the best they've got on their 'front line', they really need to worry.
al Qaeda is in Iraq fighting.
Lots of groups claim that name. It gives OBL (or whoever is 'running that gig') credibility that they didn't earn.
If we cut and run like the surrender monkey Ron Paul wants, we will be surrendering to al Qaeda.
Really? Seems to me that their chief source of propaganda would be gone, and they'd have to go back to killing each other, NOT.OUR.PROBLEM.
Still waiting on you to source where Ron Paul said that he would surrender to al Qaeda.

Try not to let them provoke you. It's not getting to me, but their behavior is really disgusting, since before 9/11 Paul was perhaps the most beloved elected official on this site and every FReeper was singing his tune.
Also they seem to conveniently forget that Paul wore the uniform, just one of three presidential candidates who served. Yeah he was an Air Force surgeon and later served in the Air National Guard, but he didn't cry or try to run when he was drafted like Rooty did. He still wore the uniform.
