Exactly. "Dogs in the Manger" is a metaphor, from a fable. The American Heritage Dictionary defines it thus: "One who prevents others from enjoying what one has no use for oneself." This is NOT the same as calling homosexuals dogs.
I agree. I don't know if you can un-remove a post, but just on principle a comment taken out of context like that shoudn't be removed.
