Well, I’d rather have 55º than 84º any day. At least we have the lower humidity for now. We had 90% humidity last Monday morning when I went walking, and I got so dehydrated in 2 1/2 miles.
If my motorhome drove at the speed of sound, I’d be at Kathy’s now, invite or no invite.
They think my stash of Vlady Vodka is stored there....
“They” say showers this morning (not a drop so far and it is 10am), and RAIN this afternoon...BUT...they have said showers every day this week and nothing so far.
It did into the high 70s and low 80s yesterday...much too wrm. Don’t know how you guys manage.
I seeeee they looking for stash what happen you went to ice fishing with some of your buddies left your vodka there by accident that what happen to Vlady’s vodka LOL!
Tomkow you could tell me here you have vodka stash in old Al Capone vault right like aka Geraldo busted it back in 1980s in Chicago
I’d get in the lake, but the water is still murky from all the rain we had the past two months. There was an article in the paper about the gulf having a “dead zone” at the mouths of the rivers, where all the oxygen was gone from the pollutants. All the fish have gone into deeper waters.
OH Lordy here we go guess who badmouth merger of Dow Jones and News Corp the Fox news channel parent company report is Pretty little pony himself John Edward OH GOD too many jokes on that he told that to AP wire
So far, we are having a cooler than normal summer this year. Normally, we would have had some triple digit days. Not so this year, but that is fine with me.
Hint when playing the old Microsoft game “Close Combat”:
When planning to do a frontal assault, have the howitzers lay ground smoke, then lay a rolling barrage of HE rounds in front and leap frog your units.
Also, never use your Allied sniper to take out a tank.
Waddayathink I buy a summer house in AK, KA?
What is it, 10 AM there and 60º. Sounds perfect so far.
Not word 1 in our daily rag about this quake....all action seems to be on Putin’s turf.

And if that doesn’t work, shower with your clothes on.
And if that doesn’t work, shower with your clothes on AND stand in front of the air conditioner.
Indoors today and tomorrow, by the sounds of local weather forecasters.
The air isn’t visible yet, however, so it’s not dangerous.
I am pretty glued to the bridge collapse coverage.
Trying to relate, one of the things that came to mind is would I even remember getting out of my car?
More breaking news off Interfax wire earthquake of 7.0 hit Saukatian Island near Siberia earlier today kill 30 people so far village are complete destroyed
There some people still in Siberia???
I just don't think I'd like to be outside working in this heat.
It's bad enough having to do lawn work on weekends, but I do the jobs I wouldn't let illegals do for me. ☺☺
I can’t take that kind of heat...
Plenty to do in here anywho!
I get the “willys” everytime I go over the huge bridge into Portsmouth, NH.
If THAT one ever let go, there’d be no need to worry about getting out of the car..
It would be all over but the crying.
