The Left in France is falling all over itself.

So many French people come to the US on vacation. They love it here.

NH is looking forwqard to the visit of “Sarko, the American”, as he is called by his Americas hating enemies on the Left.

Sarko’s brother, Oliver Sarkozy, is an American citizen, and a high profile figure in the American business world.

“We would be honored if he came,” said Carol MacCabe, a retiree who is helping to organize the fair. “I am impressed that he thinks that much of our area. I hope people just leave him alone.”

Her husband Russ MacCabe was also curious about the French president, whom he had heard was supposed to be “very pro-American.”

“I’m not sure what that means but it was on the nightly news,” MacCabe said.

Rumors spread Sarkozy might be joined at some point by President George W. Bush, whose family has a summer compound a couple of hours away by car in Kennebunkport, Maine, where he hosted Russia’s Vladimir Putin last month.

Meh...other than clogging up the traffic, nothing. At least he’s not a Masshole.

Way to encourage those tourist dollars! Why not just put a big sign that reads: Go Away!

I’ve seen that sign on the northbound I-95.

Actually it went something like:

From MASS?
Save gas-
STAY HOME!

Trust me, NH would be much better off without that socialist pit on our southern border.

Just vote to cut funding to the convention and tourism folks. States spend millions of bucks each year to lure in the tourist dollars. NH has wisely decided to shun the tourists.

I say that only half in jest. Time was NH was a thumb in the eye of liberal New England. Now with the exodus of liberals from Mass, they’re bringing their crap up here with them.

We have a Dem legislature and Senate for the first time in over a century. Guess what they’ve been doing with it? Tax and spend, tax and spend, screw the little guy and the natives.

And oh yeah—Dem legislators who propose turning NH into a “sanctuary state”.

Not the direction you really want to go, trust me. It’s only a few more years at this rate until we’re either East Vermont or North Massachusetts. A guy in a bar in Portsmouth pissed me off when he called the town a Boston suburb.

What pisses me off more is the fact he’s RIGHT.

It’s not so much an exodus as it is spill over. Boston is booming.

Oh. The visit went well ... really well ...

Sarkozy makes a scene on N.H. lake

PARIS, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- French President Nicolas Sarkozy took time from his New Hampshire vacation to board a boat containing two press photographers and shout angrily in French.

The photographers, Jim Cole of the Associated Press and free lancer Vance DeWitt, said they received permission from a security patrol boat to idle their craft in an area near Sarkozy's vessel, The Independent reported Wednesday.

The two men started snapping photos of the French head of state jubilantly enjoying his vacation.

"Then he noticed us taking pictures," Cole said, "and his happy demeanor diminished immediately."

Sarkozy's vessel pulled up beside the boat carrying the photographers and the president jumped onto the other boat and briefly snatched one of the cameras, shouting in French.

"The president was very agitated, speaking French at a loud volume very rapidly," DeWitt said.

The photographers said a woman from Sarkozy's boat eventually explained that he wanted them to stop taking pictures, and left once they agreed to.

That’s the first thing I thought of when I read this story. I can’t find a pic of Murray with the goldfish in a jar ...the perfect metaphor for the French prez.
