Ever read “1984” ?
George Orwell wrote it in 1948, but he was only off by a few years...
Nope haven’t read it,but will pick up the book at my local library on my next day off.
Interesting that he was able to see this in 1948.
I read the book back around 1972 but have been thinking about finding another copy and re-reading it again to refresh my recollection of the events as outlined in the book. I have been amazed at the gnerally accurate predictions he laid out in his writing of this book back in the forties.
