LOL. Did Harriet-the-Spy ever work for the CIA, or was it all just a figment of Joe Wilson's feverish imagination? /s
fwiw, the mention of the specific length of time she served overseas in the letter published in the Congressional Record will allow a firm determination (at last) of when she last served overseas, if someone recalls anyplace that might have indicated when she first went overseas for the CIA:
But a February 2006 letter from the C.I.A. to Ms. Wilson about her retirement benefits said that she had worked for the agency since Nov. 9, 1985, for a total of 20 years, 7 days, including six years, one month and 29 days of overseas service.
IF she first went overseas in the '80s or beginning of the '90s, and served slightly over 6 years overseas, and/or if she was finished with her overseas service when Joe Freakface met her at the Turkish Ambassador's party in '97 (??) then she certainly was more than 5 years removed from any overseas assignment by July 2003 (which has been obvious all along, since there was no crime committed by Armitage, et al). Still, it would be nice to have some more confirmation that this whole charade was just a vicious 'rat hit on the WH, as it most obviously was.
