Tactically, I agree with you. Fred Thompson is serving the practical purpose of taking down extreme liberals like Giuliani and Romney. Hallelujah.

But, there is no disputing Dr. Keyes’ points about Mr. Thompson’s Stephen Douglas-like position vis a vis the personhood of the unborn and their inalienable right to life. Alan nailed it.

EV, we've been through this a million times. It's best to overturn Roe vs Wade and let folks in their respective states fight to ban abortion. I would like to see a Constitutitonal amendment pass too but it simply ain't happening considering the liberalism of two-thirds of all the states.

Fred Thompson is pro-life, there's no debate here.
