I was watching a history presentation on television a few days ago. In the presentation it was revealed that when the Norwegians came across to America around 900 years ago, they were able to farm Greenland. Excavations of those Greenland communities found that due to temperatures dropping in that area, the communities failed after some period of success.
Another words, today it’s much cooler than it was back then. LOL. We live in an anal society that goes chicken little with every new observation as if it were always proof of something. No, observations come at a point in time. We never measured the ozone layer before, but upon finding the hole we immediately assumed we cause it.
You almost have to wonder if leftists suffer angst when they discover their belly buttons.
For about 300 years. One homestead discovered a couple of years ago had been so thoroughly frozen in the intervening time that the archeologists could smell the various types of animals that had been kept there.
The Inuits (Eskimos) who reached Greenland about the same time as the Europeans were better skilled to survive the cooling and now remain in south raising sheep AGAIN.
