Before you buy, take a look at Sharp. Our 42 inch is on the wall, going on three years old and is still perfect. We have a five speaker Bose system for the sound and its in the living room where our most comfortable seating is located.

I get most of my motherboards etc from them.. I noticed they had VIZIO TV’s at great $$$$, but the shipping was prohibitive, worked out that WalMart was the better deal..it’s up to 946.00 now but still a great deal for that size TV (VIZIO hasa % star rating BTW)
I’ll be watching more of Irving Cowboys this season too. I love watching them lose.

I disagree. I love the way they show the instant replays (90 minutes versions) of the best 4 games during the week. I feel free to go out and do whatever on sunday afternoons and if it turns out to be a great game on tv I can see it again on NFLN during the week. I like the 60 minute specials they did on all the super bowl champions. Especially the teams from back in the 60's and 70's. For me with my cable co it's an extra 5 bucks so it's not that bad.
But I do agree that the first game of the year (even if its just pre-season) should be a regular tv. But next week I believe FOX has a game on thursday night, CBS has a game on friday night and NBC has a game next sunday night.
Comcrap is making the NFL Channel (at least the HD incarnation) a premium channel in my neck of the woods.No way will I pay.I assume that when the Pats play on a Thursday night one of the locals will pick it up just like with ESPN.Even if they don’t I won’t pay.
I was at Wally World today and all I saw was 720P sets.
I will have an IC to that one!!!!!
I yearn for the day when every game will be available in HD.
