They say these nasty things because they're cowards. Believe me, if these wet hens were to meet any of us in person, they'd be quaking with fear.
They get so angry because we do not worship at the Altar of Ron Paul that they sling nasty, slanderous accusations.
Trust me, anybody who would hurl the level of insults they do would be terrified to squawk that stuff in person.
One sort of begets the other, if you catch my drift.
You are, of course, aware that the "quaking in fear" Wet Hen in question, who was slinging those "nasty, slanderous accusations" -- is a Ron-Paul-Hater like yourself, right?
Sorry, Allegra, I just had to enjoy the Irony at YOUR expense.
Of course. Like many who never served but are always shouting their "support" for the troops, this guy is trying to live vicariously through others--and since he feels like such a victim, who probably gets zero respect from anyone, he plays the wounded victim to the hilt.
I've never served, which I mention whenever these issues are brought up, but I respect the troops. That doesn't mean I play-act as if I DID serve. But the simple-minded think there's something to be ashamed of in not serving--there isn't. I'm simply not cut out to serve in that way. I'd also be a cruddy cop or firefighter--but you don't hear me telling OTHERS that they can't call the cops unless they have served on the force.
My point in bringing this up is that Ron Paul appeals to this kind of armchair warrior-type. They talk tough online, but they can only clip and paste opinions. Thus they have no personal experience in war, but they speak with the voice of authority because they bleat as if they did, as opposed to the brave men and women who DO have that experience.
They strike me as wannabes, kind of like record store employees who think that dressing up like rock stars make them rock stars. But the Paulie Parrots are all talk, and come off as the most desperate of wannabe hardguys. They don't seem to understand how pathetic they are, how ill-informed they are, how unable they are to have a political debate, and how silly they are to anyone who isn't controlled by childish emotion.
It is a rare politician who pays respect to our nation's founding principles -- and is sincere about it. Unlike many Republicans who are all talk.
“They say these nasty things because they’re cowards. Believe me, if these wet hens were to meet any of us in person, they’d be quaking with fear.”
Is that right?
