What if the Second Amendment is for real? Is it possible that it should it be revered, just like the First Amendment? I can't tell if this is written tongue-in-cheek. If it isn't, this is one of the most assinine comments I have ever read.

Charter member of the Gun-Nut Rednecks Beer-N-Barbecue Society. So what do you carry for your 'barbece' gun? I use my 45 Redhawk in a Simply Rugged holster for 'formal' occasions. ;)

So what do you carry for your 'barbece' gun? Usually the Glock 27.
It's nice that if it gets sauce on it, I can just toss it in the dishwasher.

Is it possible that we are not talking about the right of the government to form a militia when there is no standing army, but the right of the individual to defend himself, or herself, against both tyranny and lawlessness?...
You can believe either of those reasons as you wish, but what is clear is that the amendment admits the people's right to keep and bear arms, at least until it is repealed.

I'm familiar with CT CCW, I still retain mine as a non-resident. I used to live in Vernon and know all the state's papers. This was re-printed in The Day in New London today too.
When I lived in CT I ran women-only events to introduce women to shooting.
