PROJECT: COUNTERINTELLIGENCE
SUBJECT: ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION / RESPONSE ON THE U.S. LOCAL LEVEL
FILE: OPPOSITION RESEARCH
TRANSLATION: SPANISH to ENGLISH (w/BABELFISH)
Original Spanish Title: ("Más de 40 Estados Reaccionan a la Falta de Una Reforma Inmigratoria")
TEXT OF SPANISH-TO-ENGLISH TRANSLATION:
"NSN.-Because of the lack of immigration reform, the state legislatures around the United States could introduce legal initiatives to discourage illegal immigration.
According to a report of the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL, theirabbreviations in English) 1,169 initiatives on immigrants were presented/displayed before the state legislatures until the 15 of April, which is more of than double the 570 legal actions introduced in 2006 alone.
The agency indicated that the majority of these measures focus on restrictions on the use and to limit the benefits of education and services public by illegal aliens in the U.S.
The proposals include subjects like preventing the granting of licenses to lead illegals, to restrain their access to services of health, to be able to vote, and also to empower local police to apply to the laws of immigration and other subjects.
From January to May 2007, 57 laws had been approved at least in 18 government organs. The legislatures also had adopted 19 resolutions concerning immigration.
Aside from the states, about 25 governments of cities and counties have approved decrees, like preventing the renting of apartments to illegal aliens. At least 199 initiatives of law related to closing the sources of use to illegals were presented/displayed in the first four months of the year in 41 states to obtain this intention.
Georgia, Arizona, Oklahoma and Colorado head the list of the organizations with important laws concerning immigration, when approving a series of strong initiatives destined to restrain illegal immigration."
Movement is spreading due to lack of action from President and Congress. On the state and local level, flyover-country level.
This grassroots patriotic movement recently being picked up and covered vigorously in the illegal-alien readership oriented foreign langage/US-based press. The Senate of Mexico even has some Virginia localities' actions on their website in the form of an alert, it seems.
For debate, tactical, discussion and action purposes.
Ok, build the damn fence, enforce our immigration laws, and FREE Ramos and Compean !!!
You are a man of many talents AIT.
Actually, thanks for the words. Complement accepted!
“More Than 40 States Take Reactive Measures After Failure of Immigration Reform”
states and local governments just doing the jobs...that jorge bush and congress won’t!!!!
Ha! I’ve been a fan of yours for years now AIT!
The post I remember best is when you posted photos of Japanese Navy ships sinking a North Korean Navy ship a good few years ago.
The photo caption under the last one, “Sianora Dog Eaters”, still cracks me up.
yep, i did that, too! ;-) thanks again so much
“NSN.-Because of the lack of immigration reform, the state legislatures around the United States could introduce legal initiatives to discourage illegal immigration”
You mean because our federal laws against illegal immigration dont discourage it?..
Golly Gosh
Let me guess...they posted links to Loudoun and Prince William Counties here in Virginia, right?
Nice to see that local and state governments are more responsive to the will of the people than the bums in Washington. Amazing that 75% of people agree on an issue and the “leaders” in Washington aren’t tripping over themselves to jump on the bandwagon. But from the President on down most of them pay no heed to us stupid racist voters.
Here, in the California Central Valley it is specially common, and the tone of the articles is mind-boggling in the candid arrogance of the articles.
I need to start translating the one I know about in my city and post them here on FR.
A better translation might be
“More than 40 states react to the failure of an immigration reform”
It may sound similar, but it’s not exactly the same.
They (the website for the Mexican Senate) did in fact mention one of those counties that were in Virginia: Loudon County
Do it. Indeed. This is what we call as opposition research. It is amazing the sense of entitlement they demonsrate when they talk in “open mike” format but within their own community, not thinking anyone outside is really looking in on them. (Japanese, etc. do this a lot, too, such as talking about tactics to beat the Americans on trade talks, etc.). It took a long time for them to realize they were being listened in upon.
We will show them a "thing or two".
thanks redbob
