Reports are that the car (early reports was that it was a van) was from Florida and passing through SC and was pulled over by chance. The explosive devices were in the trunk... apparently the FBI is now involved....

There was something similar farther north on the I-95 corridor within the past couple months...I just can’t recall when and where.

Any one passing through SC from Florida would be on I-95, which is about 50 miles to the west of Charleston. They would never come through Charleston any more than they would come through Wilmington, NC, it would simply take too long to complete the north-south trip.

Why do our news people report as fact something about which they have no clue, time and time again?
