A majority of Israeli lawmakers have signed a petition against deporting back to Egypt many of the Sudanese refugees who have sought asylum in the Jewish state. This after four refugees trying to cross into Egypt last week were shot and lynched by Egyptian soldiers.

I’d like to know the full story behind this incident. Were they terrorists? Doesn’t sound like due process to me, but if they were armed or carrying contraband, they may have deserved it. Still due process should have been afforded them unless there’s an angle I’m not privy to.
Don’t anyone hold their breathe waiting for the MSM to report this.
My last big debate I had with them was the Crusades. They do not seem to understand that it was a counter attack. They believe that the Christians decided to attack the Muslims that were just minding their own business. Unbelievable!
Being Christian or a Jew is dangerous enough, but being black and Christian, or even a black Muslim is a hopeless situation to be in in the Arab world.

Of course, Islam does not limit slavery to black people, all non-muslims are eligable, but only blacks can never be equal in Islam, even if they are released from slavery. Anyone who calls this a "ROP" needs to have their heads examined.

The USA is the only country on the planet where ‘due process’ is a mandatory part of the legal system. And the muzzies and the mexicans use it to their advantage daily. Most countrys handle illegal immigration just like this event. That is, prove you are a citizen or have legal business here or else.
I think you’re capable of grasping the concept that this wasn’t handled properly. Regardless of what the rest of the world does, I’m going to recommend they handle it better. I’m sure you would too.

Interestingly, this is in a nutshell is why the Bush adventure in Iraq is folly. Americans are culturally unique. We value liberty the way the islamo-nutjobs value shariah. To imagine that a liberal democratic capitalist system was going to spring from the ashes of Saddam's barbarous regime was really naive and stupid.
Toppling Saddam and killing anyone and everyone in the country associated with Al Qaeda or Iran might have made sense. But to succeed it would have to have been a campaign modeled on the Russian effort in Chechnya.
How many people would continue to embrace Islam if it were routinely called the “Religion of Slavery” instead of sarcastically the “Religion of Peace”?
Islam allows and even encourages slavery to be forced onto anyone who is not a muslim.
The amazing thing is that most of these asylum seekers are actually Muslims. They are running to the Jewish state and away from their Muslim brothers in Egypt.
The best we can figure is that the Egyptians are gunning them down at the border so that Israel will be denied looking like the good guy by providing refuge to displaced Muslims. I would say they are failing miserably, but then I remember that the MSM completely ignores these kinds of stories of abuse.
I was actually amazed to find out that about three years ago, Egyptian soldiers massacred about 30 Sudanese who were part of a demonstration against the UN in downtown Cairo. It was never reported, at least not in the MSM!
Also, I think some folks here are confused about the issue, comparing it to the situation on America’s southern border. These Sudanese are not smugglers or even job-seekers. They are ethnic Africans who have been displaced by Arab militias in their own country and are seeking safe haven. The Israelis are actually trying to help them across the border and to save them from the Egyptians.
