MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice; Rep. Rahm Emanuel, D-Ill.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Republican presidential candidates Sam Brownback, Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, Duncan Hunter, John McCain, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Tom Tancredo and Tommy Thompson debate.

They changed it from when I first looked. They had Gates saying “misunderestimate.” I did a search on that phrase and the first his was in the Gates comment that now says “misunderstaning” instead. You don’t suppose they have folks monitoring this thread, do you?
Nah, they’re not that bright.
But just in case...
Yo, Timmah. We’ve got your number. We brought down Dan Rather after catching him in an obvious lie. We’re watching you, bucko!
You have nothing to fear but your own incompetence and dishonesty. Those are always the undoing of arrogant asshats like you. You got away with perjury in your testimony in the Scooter Libby trial (so far) but that sort of thing has consequences. And it’s a pattern with you. And patterns tend to catch up with frauds.
So true and we get feeds from all across the country without changing the channel!

They kept showing Kristol as Juan blathered on with his divorced from reality talking points, as if they expected him to launch into a smack down. I got the feeling, however, that he had been warned off by someone. Wallace?
It’s time for Luca Brasi to be brought in to make them an offer they can’t refuse.
My mistake, sorry.
Hah! We got it right. (I didn’t doubt it for a moment.)
8/3/2007 - CHANGE OF COMMAND - Pakistani Commodore Khan Hasham Bin Siddique, Vice Adm. Kevin Cosgriff and French Rear Adm. I really think he’s been airbagged one too many times.
Hah! We got it right. (I didnt doubt it for a moment.)

We have highly trained and sensitive ears!!!
Yes we do, my friend, and "misunderestimated" is one of the words we are most alert to. Nucular is another.
You’ve made me feel better!!!!
Of course! I hear that word regularly.

All of you e-mailing in over this story that "24" is going green, calm down. The show's production is going to be carbon neutral, but the storylines won't have anything to do with global warming. Jack Bauer won't be shooting SUVs.
MUAH!
;-)
Muah back!
Also a Gold medal for Freeper Excellence to Chuck54 and Bahbah. They watch the shows so we don't have to! Thanks to both of them for the Play-by-play commentary every week. It is very useful
10 Alas Babylon!: Alas doesn't say much but when he lets fly you just got to sit up and take notice.
#233 Its not incompetence Johnnie, they know full well what theyre doing. They know the surge didnt get spun up until the troops actually arrived, but to stretch it out further gives them more to work with for their meme that the war is lost. The democrats and the driveby media are one in the same. At least ideological bedfellows. Theres even less air between the dems and the DBM than there is between Chuck Schumer and a news camera/microphone. OK, thats simply not true, but the Dem/DBM butt buddy relationship is a VERY close second!
9. Johnny7: Great find Johnny. Funny how important articles like this get lost in the noise too often.
#49Congress approval in the polls rivals the Presidents. Check this out from WaPo: The Congress So Far
8. Don-o: Good, very good.
#20. Interesting that no one from the House gets on concerning the debacle/theft that happened in the dark of night. Uh, speaking of the vote fraud as opposed to the normal, everyday debacle/frauds.
7. Snugs: Intresting perspective on the British political system.
#122We have the State opening of Parliament in October and prior to that the main parties hold their annual conferences. Obviously though Parliament is not sitting therefore laws are not being passed the cabinet obviously are in close contact and will meet either as a whole or various members. MPs as well will continue to work in their own constituencies it is just that Parliament is not sitting. An example was the Gordon Brown called a COBRA meeting on Saturday cutting short his holiday in the west country because there was a foot and mouth outbreak in Surrey and so he immediately headed back to London to access and take control of the situation.
6. Mol: Better put some ice on that Timmy, that one is going to leave a mark!
#45Timmy has his frowny face on. There have been some serious misjudgements made. The same can be said about Timmy
5. Aliveritas: Princess Links is BACK and better then ever! A whole week's worth of REAL news found just by reading her links
#238 in particular but also 239, 240, 244, 248, 258 and 261.
4. Arrowhead1952: PRICELESS! #55
Timmy has his frowny face on. There have been some serious misjudgements made. Misjudgements made on what? His Sunday Show guest selections the past few years?
And in a bit Snugs will post the top 3.
