Just guessing, but I'd GUESS that the taxpayers are already footing the bill.

LOL!

It seems strange that the victim could be stabbed a few dozen times at a birthday party before the good samaritan shot the punk. I guess maybe the victim was outside, or alone somewhere.

The woman had faith in the government gun-control system. It sure worked.

I’ve never yet heard of a piece of paper that could stop a bullet...

Me neither.

The stabber got exactly what he deserved. It’s only too bad that his ex-wife died.

Can you imagine how much taxpayer dollars he saved? I bet that one bullet saved over a million dollars.

Minus whatever money they spend playing PC games with the shooter.

Too bad his innocent ex died also....

Sad that anyone died... but innocent...does not necessarily follow..

Domestic disputes have origins which are hard to discern..
and the adversarial nature of our Juriprudence leads to false alligations & false testimony.

I have become convinced our justice system’s willingness to become involved is exacerbating the problem not making it better.

Lawyers playing games for profit with the lives of others.

I believe the entire process has become more a venue for revenue collection than conflict resolution.
