The main objective in legalizing the 12 million was to eliminate their fugitive status, allowing them to live in the United States without fear of being detected and deported or being abused by unscrupulous employers...

How can you be this dumb and still have the ability to fog a mirror? What you have is 12 million people who entered this country illegally and broke the law. They have no rights in this country, and surely have no claim to any of the benefits extended to its citizens. They ARE fugitives, you idiot! They broke the law...that's why they are called illegals. I really don't care how long they've managed to escape the law, they do not belong here and they should be sent back as they are discovered.

As Tallyrand said of the Bourbon Kings, “They have learned nothing, and they have forgotten nothing.” Specter learned nothing, and remains committed to amnesty and open borders.

We should encourage Spector to be consistent and demand that we no longer pursue any criminals, period. Give them all amnesty so they can return to their homes and be good citizens. Then, if we are not going to enforce immigration laws demand that we not enforce any.

However, the real kicker is here:

... consider other indicators of citizenship short of the right to vote (which was always the dealbreaker)...

The Democrats want millions of new illegal voters and will do nothing that doesn't allow that. If we give in to them they have won and America becomes Amerika.
