I believe that a Jewish Carpenter born 2000 years ago is God incarnate. It doesn’t get much weirder than that.

I comes down to faith, either you have it or you don’t.

Faith does not have to go through peer review because its a faith not a science.

I don’t see what’s weird about this. Are you calling Christianity weird? Isn’t this a Christian forum?

The truth of Christianity is revealed in the Bible. It doesn’t mention anything about John Smith.

Yes, but is He one in the same with the Father and Holy Spirit? Me, I wouldn't care what Mitt believes except it factors into my steadfast conviction that most people won't vote for a Mormon (the same as most won't vote Muslim, either) and ensures Hillary if he gets the GOP nod. In fact, IMO, there is more commonality between the founders of Mormonism and Islam that there is with mainline Protestant founders Calvin and Luther, the Roman Catholic Popes and St. Peter, or the Jewish patriarchs, Abraham and Moses. I do, however, believe that Mitt is nothing more than a slicker version of Bill Clinton (without the promiscuity) and that all you have to do is research his Senate campaign against Ted Kennedy to seek out his real true position.
