Translation: Nominate Rudy and lose, nominate Fred and win.The "social conservatives" and "values voters" enthusiastically supported George Bush, simply because he met their two sole and exclusive criteria: no abortion, and allegedly "born again."
I hope we can find some more relevant and expansive criteria for 2008.
