Were you in D7 at all? That’s where I learned the rule of inverse proportions on yacht value vs. seamanship.

I was in Steadfast as a cadet in 87, then I was in Polar Star in 88, Bear in 91.

Nope, all D1. Yeah, us enlisted call it the law of big boats. The bigger the boat, the more right of way you have.

This past weekend, i was taking a high speed ferry to Block Island, and it had to do a harsh evasive manuever around a stupid sailboat who got a long blast of the horn. I’m sure passengers were throwing stuff at the sailboat, but i’ll never testify!

Yo need more powerful tools than gay chainsaws to kill off a Volvo.

Preferably something monstrous;

I wonder what the remnants of the giant Caterpillar would’ve looked like if the Volvo was of the same size.

Whatever you hear about Volvo... is probably true. But I admit Americans, Japanese and Germans know something about this specific art too.

:-)

Generally speaking, the more expensive the watercraft, the less competent the skipper.

Pretty much the same with cars and drivers............

“Damn, some days I really miss running heavy equipment.”

OK, it isn’t cheap but it is a solution..

Furthermore, I think more women should allow their men to enjoy themselves in all areas of life!

What’s wrong with cutting down trees and seeing some sl***?

LOL< When I need equipment at home, i borrow it from my employer. I really don’t think much of hummers, as they are only chevy trucks with a very expensive and way too fancy body slapped on them.

The jonsered ad is interesting, i guess, i don’t get it. I own only Husqvarna saws, anyway.

“When I need equipment at home, i borrow it from my employer.”

- The only fully functioning thing I’ve ever managed to borrow from an employer was a rusty Mercedes van. I needed it when I moved from one place to another.

A certain workmate (out of some reason) tried to convince this former employer of mine that it wasn’t the policy of the company to lend its trucks out to ‘anyone’.

My former boss, who was somewhat tired of old Mercedes vans, replied;

“- It is.”

My mother drove it (I didn’t have a drivers license back then) and I don’t know what happened to it after it was parked somewhere. I think we left it outside a football arena.

“The jonsered ad is interesting, i guess, i don’t get it.”

- Like the lyrics go, “It’s all in your mind”. My interpretation is this:

The main character is trifle bored with his private life. Therefore, he cuts down trees and has begun to look around for other females.

Is this behavior right or wrong?

You be the judge.

Puff: No, no. The first thing is to start the boat. Spongebob? Spongebob, relax. It’s only the boat.
Spongebob: The boat?
Puff: OK, now what do you do next?
Spongebob: Floor it?
Puff: Yes… no! Don’t floor it.
Spongebob: Floor it?
Puff: No, don’t, don’t floor it.
Spongebob: OK, floor it.
* crash * *Mrs. Puff inflates*
Puff: Oh, Spongebob… why?

I don’t know, the two guys were eyeballing eachother a lot. some gay overtones there, i’d saw, and he’s trying to compensate by felling trees.
