It happened to me35 years ago. I didn’t have a chance to vote. I was gone away to Guard Camp and when I got home, there were two cards for me. I was devastated and I am not over it today. Somewhere, the spirit of my first child searches. I hope and pray it is with the Lord.

Except every once in a while....when I see a father carrying a 2 or 3 year old daughter, and they're in their Sunday Best....and they both have a big smile....that makes me stop and think. Everytime.
