Pretty One baking cookies
Need a closer look
Paws and tail just right
Look up slowly with wide eyes
above a sad frown
Tiny ears folded
flat. Adds to the drama as
Pretty One looks down
Lifts a big tray of
luscious smelling cookies from
the open Hot Box
A contest of wills
as the cookies slowly cool
Who will concede first?
Flat thing slides and puts
the cookies on a plate. Would
count if I knew how?
One, then another
cookie land on tiny plates
Things are looking up!
A cookie for My
Pretty One and one for me
