The meat of the matter is that Romney equates "helping him to win the presidency" as equivalent to serving the country in the military. I don't happen to believe that there is ANY comparison, whatsoever. It sounds very conceited to me.

BTW, I have a grandson who is in the military now, and a son who served two hitches in the army. They both enlisted, proudly. I wonder though, if they would have considered the opportunity to ride around in a motor home attending rallies instead of basic training!

I saw them on television and was very impressed with them. Seems like a nice family. We could do worse, you know. I have NO idea who I’m going to vote for, but I won’t turn Mr. Romney down just because he’s a Mormon. But, as I say, I’m not sure who I’ll vote for yet.
