Having large elements of the civilian population reject Al Qaida is hugh political progress. The lack of legislation is less important.First... even if there were hugh success on the political front... the dims would just find something else to point to to say it is time to leave.
And B... dims only see political success as how many laws get passed... no different than over here. Every solution must involve more government intervention.
