That might be a mistrans. One billion muslimes would turn into suicidally bombed embers if we finally went for broke and started nuking their pop centers, religious and otherwise.
Matter of fact, we could have nearly all of them rendered to vapor before any of them realized a particular target was hit.
If they all become suicide bombers, you don’t have to worry about selectivity. No innocents would be harmed in mass actions against Muslims if that were the situation, since they’d all be combatants.
And just for that, we should obliterate Mecca and Medina.

I doesn’t make sense to bomb Mecca. If they nuke a city, we should bomb Medina. Then let them know that if there is any more terrorism, Mecca gets it.

Trust me, if Mecca (Makaka) and Medina are attacked by the US,
first, NO ONE from there is going to be left to be a suicide bomber
second, there are going to be many, many other places being hit at once and turned into glass.

Nobody even needs to take credit for it. Just use a particularly dirty weapon that will leave the area uninhabitable for several thousand years with particularly durable isotopes, so that any Hajj means death.

The Taliban blew up ancient Buddhist statues in March of 2001. I do not find these to be unrelated events. A jihad was called against the kufir around the world, not just the Westerners.
Notice how the Buddists weren’t permitted to retaliate by blowing up Islamic holy sites yet everyone on the Left seems to find it perfectly justifiable for muslims to retaliate on a strike against Mecca with an attack on the Vatican.
