What's wrong with me, a senior moment? I know the name Tessla, but I think it's spelled Tesla. Dr. George (L. A. weather) credited Nicholas Tesla with inventing electricity - before Thomas Alva Edison.

I miss Dr. George. Many people called him a clown, but he was smarter than all of them put together. Nobody else ever had explained cut-off lows, or Catalina eddys.

Is he still around? He used to go to New Mexico for the hot air balloon races. In fact, I think that's where he was born.

I even miss Johnny Mountain!!! Jerry Dunphy. Christine Lund knocking on SLA doors. Goofy. And dangerous.

I think you’re right about the spelling. Tesla of course was an genious when it came to electricity. He differed with Edison in that he wanted to create an electric presence, which could be used to run machines. Edison wanted to see things wired. I’m so bad at this, but one wanted AC and the other DC. Edison prevailed.

I’ve even heard it proposed that it was one of Tesla’s experaments that caused that massive blast in Russia years ago that leveled a large section of the forest. They surmise that his experament got out of hand and caused devistation far away from the source of experament.

Take care...
