I hope he is awarded one dollar, and his wife gets half.
LOL - maybe you are right. Or maybe he was lying to himself. Anyway his wife got lucky IMO.
He should be shot. Any married person who cheats on their spouse should give up 100% of the marital assets to the non-cheating spouse, and 50% of their paycheck for a period equal to the lengh of marriage.
Maybe Leroy should have kept it in his pants and his hands off another woman.
25 years ago I worked for a divorced doctor whose wife (who also happened to be a doctor) worked in the same office building. Anyhoo, the doctor I worked for order flowers for his girlfriend (some girl half his age) with some “gushy” note attached and asked that they be delivered to his office. Only problem was when the delivery man came with flowers addressed to Dr. “So and So”...he just assumed the flowers were for the female Dr. “So and So” and delivered the flowers to the ex-wife. I imagine she read the card, and then the doc I worked for got a call from the ex-wife saying, “I think something is in my office that should have been delivered to your office.” It was hysterical to see the Dr lose his cool and the office staff could hardly hide the snickers for the rest of the day.
You got that right!
LOL, I no longer have a wife, s I can send flowers to my mom any time I like without being questioned.
And the car, the house, the join bank account, half his 401k, etc., ad nauseum.
So send your Mom some flowers! She’ll love them!
actually he does.
He may be a fool but he is a legally correct fool.
(and apparently the soon to be ex wife is a fool because she put up with him because he had money.)
Check this thread.
Stupidity should be OUTLAWED, but this is beyond stupid.
“Here’s your sign.”
If the guy asked for no receipt, it is not the same thing as asking 1-800-FLOWERS to keep a secret from his wife. If he was expecting the company to understand that the transaction was to be kept confidential from his wife, he should have specifically said so. Simply saying “No Receipt” does not cover it.
It would be interesting to find out if 1-800-FLOWERS would even be permitted to refuse to provide a copy of the order and receipt upon the request of the wife. After all, as far as the law is concerned, she and her husband are one entity. It would be as if the husband had asked for a copy of the order himself. Consumer protection laws might require 1-800-FLOWERS to comply with the request from either the husband or the wife.
I do, and she does.
How so. I don't agree. They complied with his original wish. I don'tthink he said they could never contact him regarding his purchase, and when the wife asked, they were legally required to forward the reciept.
I don’t get his case. He asked not to be sent a receipt. They sent a thank you card. Two completely seperate documents with completely seperate meanings. How was an online flower merchant to know he was covering his tracks and wanted absolutely no paper trail?
LOL! - that took a moment to figure out.
I don't know. Apparently, the company did not send him a receipt, as requested. They sent him a follow-up card later, but that is not a receipt.
It would depend on the wording of the request for "no receipt". If the husband had requested no communication of any kind, then he might have some kind of a case. If he requested that the transaction be kept confidential, he would have an even better case. However, if Loverboy just checked the box for "No Receipt" and thought that that would preclude any future contact or follow up, or that would require 1-800-FLOWERS to keep a secret from his wife, he's got nuthin'.
