Medically, yes. It doesn't’t make you high but it does shrink your sinuses enough to have them examined or for surgery.

This sounds funny but what really rocked was going to the ENT doc and having my nose packed with cocaine and epi. Ummm...
Did I miss a joke or something? And what's an epi?

Oh yeah! I used to run cocaine to the ER fairly frequently. One time a doc asked for 5 grams. The RPH said: “Are you sure you need that much”? The answer was yes, so I ran it up there. The doc said: “I don’t need THAT much!” It was kinda funny.

Hey TOL, just getting through a sinus deal and a good thing to use is just “Saline” You can get over the counter “Simply Saline” Sterile Saline Nasal Mist.
It Moisturizes and clears congestion.
re Mucinex is comes as that and MucinexDM mainly an Expectorant.
