TEHRAN (AFP) - Iran's leaders on Thursday told visiting Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki that US troops must leave his country, in talks that reinforced growing bilateral ties and sparked unease in Washington. ADVERTISEMENT

Following a renewed warning from President George W. Bush over Tehran's alleged meddling in Iraq, Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei told Maliki the presence of US troops was the biggest obstacle to restoring security.

Leaving behind a political crisis at home, the Shiite premier received a warm welcome from Iran's top leaders, including Khamenei, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and national security chief Ali Larijani.

This is so funny. We can’t even kill enough in Iraq to end this war and and Iraq is only 28 million. Iran is 64 million with an actual army and some of you want to send other folks sons to die. This country doesn’t have the testosterone to fund a war in viet nam , much less fight actual armies in Iran. Fold up and go home. Women rule!!

"Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei told Maliki the presence of US troops was the biggest obstacle to restoring security."

so, he's admitting Iran is in Iraq causing all the problems. Of course, Democrats won't see it that way. They'll just cry all the louder now to withdraw the troops, especially now that they are kicking (Khamenei's) Teheran's butt.

I don’t think there is anything “funny” about Democrats and traitor media getting our troops killed by forcing them to fight with their hands tied behind their backs.

Like the other guy said, STFU.

Being funny is hard work. Some people think that humor is easy, that anybody can be funny with very little work. This is not true. To be funny there are a lot of things you must know about humor and a lot of situations you must prepare for, so until then...

I detect Viet Nam syndrome. One of its primary symptoms is the need to cut and run. Those who have this malady are characterized by an anarcho-communist death wish to be victimized by authoritarian tyrants. Such are ruled by irrational feelings and such things as strategic planning, national security and economic stability are contrary to their idea of freedom. War is something to be lost; not won. As George Orwell once said, “the quickest way to end a war is to loose it.”

Uh huh. Iraq stood Iran’s “real army” off for eight years. They lasted three weeks against ours. Care to lay any reckless bets, n00b?
