That sentence got me too...I feel bad for the woman. The marriage is over, she knows it.
1) Something on the order of 4 people play Second Life, largely because it is a massive truck of fail.
2) Yep, he’s cheating.
3) His wife and his girlfriend could be sisters.
The “real” Mrs. H. needs to back up and leave. I wonder how long it would take for this moron to notice that she’s gone?
she’s got bigger problems than is he cheating... she’s married to a loser moron who’s cheating!
I’d never even heard of Second Life before...my brother sent me the link to the story.
“You try to talk to someone or bring them a drink, and they’ll be having sex with a cartoon.”
Ha! Hey, dude ... there’s a REAL chick there that would probably have ACTUAL sex with you if you’d get off the damn computer.
Are we completely sure “Mr. Hoogestraat” isn’t a pen name for Bill Clinton (in which case, I might understand avoiding the real chick)? That can’t be a real name.
H
“A burly man with a long gray ponytail, thick sideburns and a salt-and-pepper handlebar mustache, Mr. Hoogestraat looks like the cross between a techie and the Grateful Dead fan that he is.”
Nevermind ... its just a hippie. Free love, man. I’m now picturing Tommy Chong from That 70’s Show.
10 Bucks says he votes Democrat.
H
I agree.
Phoenix?
It's a dry heat...............
Second Life.
For those without a First, apparently...
Chew carefully - those little tiny bones are crunchy.
“It’s a dry heat...............”
He’s dry too!
I’m in the middle of it..........it’s egg frying on the sidewalk time : )
Heh heh, sorry, I didn’t mean to sound critical of you.
I just think it’s funny that the media makes such a big deal out of SL, when very few people actually care about it, especially compared to other online phenomena.
But then, maybe I just spend too much time absorbing the prejudices at slashdot. ;)
...but in actuality looks like this:
Ping.
The redhead is a Canadian woman in real life and her picture is on the link. In fact, Mr. and Mrs. H’s picture is also at the URL and the pictures of the two virtual characters are also there.
I wonder how tall Mr. H. is in real life, his virtual toon (character) is a 6’9” tall biker.
Me, too. And then some.
whats a book and where do the batteries go?
