1. A draft would have to include both males and females. Gays would have to be included or everybody who didn’t want to be drafted would just say they were gay.

2. The left wants a draft so bad they can just about taste it. They live for the exciting days of the 60’s. Draft riots, burning draft cards, chanting students on every college campus, nightly news coverage of police beating back rioters. Oh yeah, the left would love to bring back the draft.

I have nothing against the many draftees who would serve honorably.

I have everything against the rotten apples who would consume their leaders time with BS.

We DO NOT need military people who did not want to join in the first place.. Its hard enough training the ones who do volunteer in todays climate.

Any General who thinks we need a draft in the war situation we have now is a idiot or playing to a socialist agenda.

You could really screw the left up if you had a draft with an option for either civil or military service. That way the lefties could opt for civil service and get an idea of what communism is about as they work in the blazing sun for the good of the state.

That's not true and is not the way the established system will work. I'm in favor of law that would put a trial battalion of combat lines of chicks into a real fight to disprove amazonian feminism idiocy, though.

That problem has been foreseen and taken care of in planning and military law. Homosexual acts (and more) and harrassment are illegal and are punished.

Yes ,the left does want a draft. They keep dreaming of their pot smoking hippie days.

Unfortunately(or fortunately) the hippies did not produce many children. So there will not be a return to those days. The young people today are not as dumb as the hippies were nor are they as spoiled.

My problem is that the hippies will attempt to use the military to cram their ideology down the throats of our young people. The hippies will insist that our military accept people who will not make good soldiers. Then the hippies will demand that those people be treated like royalty. I’m not a military person but I can tell that is a loosing combination.
