No, we only draft soldiers, not sailors or airman. Every new soldier needs to be able to perform as an infantryman. I’m not sure that there are really too many MOS’s where you can absolutely or even practically rule out that possibility. If we have another Bastogne or Pusan, everyone needs to be able to fight long term as an infantryman.

My point is there must be some role that drafted women can play in the service (any of them) where the role is currently filled by an able bodied infantryman. These jobs are probably in places where we are NOT going to be in a “all in” fight.
This way we can draft everyone, not discriminate and keep the people who should not be in combat, useful and safe.
