I'm not sure Rudy ever called himself the "hero of 9/11". I don't think this incident hurts Rudy that much.

I'm not sure he isn't the best person to deal with terrorism. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't.

I think you have to give Rudy some real credit for dramatically changing NYC. It was a massive crime capital and now it's not. Many other smaller cities have much higher crime rates.
