I’ll miss Karl Rove. The derangement he stirred in others amused me to no end.

At least he’ll leave in a limousine, not a paddy wagon like the defeatocrats would’ve liked.

Maybe Mr. Murdoch gave him a post at the WSJ; wouldn’t that piss off the left-wing!

Rove batted 1000 with regard to George W Bush, winning every election Rove managed.
Rove had nothing to do with 2006. Congressional Republicans screwed that pooch.

Over the next 18 months, everybody on the President Bush’s team is going to quit. It is the way it works at the end of every administration, and signifies nothing.
There will be much breathless reportage over each and every one, of course. But it will be completely meaningless.

Whos gonna control the weather now??? This morning it is kind of grey and uninspired here. Neither hot nor cold, neither windy nor calm. It is as if the weather does not know what to do without bing told...

For that alone no matter where he is or what he is or is not doing, Karl will be a consultant for the rest of his life and well paid for it. He has earned every cent and then some.
THANKS KARL for your service!!!!

It wasn’t luck. It was bad decision making for his boss, such as the ports deal, the immigration issue, and the fiasco known as Harriet Myers.

Frankly, I think Rove was exactly the right guy at the right time, but that time is gone. He did great work in 2000 and 2004, but by 2006, his bag of tricks had been exhausted.
Rove is like Mariano Rivera, the great NY Yankees relief pitcher. Mariano is devastatingly effective in the regular season, when opposing batters see him once or twice, and then do not see him again for a while. But over a seven-game series, the opposing batters figure out his stuff, and he is winds up being just ordinary toward the end.
The Donks have figured out Karl Rove’s stuff. It is time for the manager to come out with the hook. But, like the like the Yankees, the Republicans have been relying on their Magician for so long, they don’t have any other decent closers on the bench.

What a joke! G. Bush taking advice to fire Rove from Beck and Hannity!!
I have not heard one word from any talk show even slightly suggesting that Rove go anywhere.

So, just out of curiosity, what is Karl Roves home Congressional District?

“But he get Bush elected twice and that’s a pretty good legacy to have on your resume as a political wizard. “
I don’t think he is as smart as he is cracked up to be. He barely beat two of the worst candidates in recent history. One even got more votes. Gore was a boring liar and Kerry was an elitist flip-flopper. Bush should have mopped the floor with those clowns.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
No offense intended, but good riddance, and Fred is too mixed up with the Bushbots already as it is.

I’ll bet half of the Demos are cheering his departure, while the other half are thinking,”What is he up to now?”
To: gridlock
Tough to say. He's registered to vote in Ingram, TX (Kerr County), but has never lived there apparently. Has houses in DC & Florida.
So, just out of curiosity, what is Karl Roves home Congressional District?
