Here’s what I just sent:

On your AgJobs idea: The American people are willing to put up with some disruption in the labor market and are amazingly adaptable as well. What we won’t put up with is a government that refuses to do its job of enforcing our borders and tolerates 12 million illegals in the country now.

In case you hadn’t noticed, the American people sent a clear message when they melted your phones during the last two rounds of this nonsense: ENFORCEMENT FIRST!

Thank you

I will say this. A crackdown and booting the illegals IS going to create a demographic crisis and a shortfall in Soc. Security funding of enormous proportions.

And before you leap to your feet and exclaim that the solution is increased legal immigration, make sure you have an explanation for 2 things in hand:

1) How will you get democrats to approve an influx of higher skilled immigrants from Europe who will be affluent and vote GOP? and

2) How will you fund the bidding war that will unfold IMMEDIATELY when the new immigrant country of origin offers incentives to keep skilled workers. And if they are unskilled who will take the jobs vacated by booted illegals, who is going to pay for their plane ticket?

>> I will not support Larry Craig’s reelection. I also will not support his suggested replacement, Lt. Governor Jim Risch, because Risch is using his political capital to promote the liberal former Governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney, for President. <<

Alot of prominent "True conservative" politicians are.

Look at South Carolina where freepers trash Lindsey Graham but hail Jim DeMint (whose voting record is not much different) as an outstanding conservative icon. Guess who DeMint is cheerleading for President? It ain't guys like Hunter or Tancredo. It's this certain fellow from Ted Kennedy's state.

And even DeMint's endorsement is a step up from the other "true conservative" they wanted to challenge Lindsey, coke-snorting Rudybot Tom Ravenel. (which sort of makes sense, you'd have to be on drugs to think Rudy represents South Carolina "values")

Poor leadership is killing us. This is just one more example.

And if “our” politicians are not called to account, it will continue.

Don't complain about the illegals if you don't make the call to report them.

Don’t look now, boys and girls, but they’re going to attempt to push amnesty through piecemeal starting after labor day. Roll up your sleaves for another fight!

We already said NO you f*ckin' RINO piece of garbage!"

Sheer eloquence!

Boggles the mind that "conservatives" like Craig and Lindsey Graham can be so deluded that they think giving away America to Mexico is a good idea.

You are not really insinuating that illegals pay substantial amounts into SS are you. The little we will lose on SS will be readily made up for with decrease in crime and social services.

Those immigrants only “do the jobs we aren’t willing to do” because they can’t get welfare. If we want to replace those workers with our own, we will have to severely limit welfare as well. If we magically ended welfare next month, there would be plenty of people suddenly interested in those jobs.

Craig said he's already had word from an ally in his fight for a guest worker program, a California agricultural company that laid off about 200 of its 500 employees as a result of "mismatch" letters.

Since 40% of their workers had bogus SSNs, it appears to be pretty safe to assume that this company did very little to ensure that it was hiring legal workers.

The good news is that even with little effort to hire legal workers, it looks as if 60% were legal.

They may have to raise wages to attract more legal workers. They may have to make an effort to legally bring migrant workers into the country on a temporary basis using the plans that are currently in place.

These companies should have been working harder and harder to hire legal workers rather than trying to illegally keep hiring workers cheaply. If they lose crops because they refused to make an effort to hire legal workers, that is their own fault.

I don't want to see our agriculture industry upended and see food prices skyrocket. However, I've seen little to convince me that will happen. Food prices are likely to go up, because agriculture companies are going to have to pay more to attract more legal workers, but I don't think the industry is going to collapse under the burden of following the law.

Forget the DemoRats “allowing” in more Europeans- we can do better than that.
The Christians in EU (not all EU members but most...) need a host country to facilitate them having a status as refugees from religios persecution.
If any US states would set up the incursion of European religious persecution refugess, the shame to DemoRats would be .... deafening. The benefits to the Conservative cause would be obvious.

Man you still don't get it. I don't give a rat's ass who DeMint supports for President. That's completely irrelevant. What I do care about is whether or not DeMint is going to lie to his constituents in their faces about calling an amnesty scheme "immigration reform" when the people he represents know better.

Graham, Craig, and any other Republican who supports illegal immigration need to be shown the door.

Good. That means the politicians will have to address the issue rather than kicking the can down the road again.
