The method or type of information gathered is of secondary concern to the overall scheme. Of primary concern is that EEVS makes every American worker at the mercy of the federal government for "eligibility" to get a job. That is so far beyond what is considered the proper role of republican government that it shrugs toward totalitarianism. The potential for abuse is, of course, astounding. Again, there is no sense trying defending this indefensible system, just because a good man appears to support it. It's a bad proposal that should be defeated, yet again, just as we dodged this very bullet with the demise of the Senate bill.
What I would like is for Congressman Hunter to explain whether he does, indeed, fully support this proposal and why. Perhaps he was misled or hasn't thought it through. I'll await his response. Thanks.
