Founding Fathers = British citizens until the Declaration.

I don’t think Great Britain was very multicultural when they were colonizing.

UK was exceeding multi-culti during the early days of its colonization of the New World. After all, it had been itself an immigration target for generations ~ thousands of years actually.

By the time of the American Revolution the English were actually importing their kings!

To their credit the English were the first to stop banishing the Jews and even figured out a way for them to integrate themselves into English society.

UK is still a target for immigration.
