Swedish society is disintegrating and is in danger of collapsing. The "Swedish Model" no longer refers to a peaceful state with an advanced economy, but to a Eurabian horror story of utopian multiculturalism, socialist mismanagement, and runaway immigration. The newspaper Aftonbladet reported that 9 out of 10 of the most criminal ethnic groups in Sweden come from Muslim countries. The number of rape charges in Sweden has quadrupled in just twenty years. Rape cases involving children under the age of 15 are six times as common today as they were a generation ago. Most other kinds of violent crime have increased, too. Resident aliens from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia dominate the group of rape suspects. Lawyer Ann Hjelm found that 85 per cent of the convicted rapists were born on foreign soil or from foreign parents. The phenomenon is not restricted to Sweden. The number of rapes committed by Muslim immigrants to Western nations is so extremely high it's difficult to view these rapes as merely random acts of individuals. It resembles warfare. European jails are filling up with Muslims imprisoned for robberies and all kinds of violent crimes, and Muslims bomb European civilians. The mainstream media cannot, or don't want to, see the obvious: this is exactly how an invading army would behave: rape, pillage, and bombing. Similar stories could be told about much of Western Europe. As Mark Steyn points out, the jihad in the streets of France looked like the early skirmishes of an impending Eurabian civil war, brought on massive Muslim immigration and Multricultural stupidity. At the same time Europeans are paying the highest taxes in the world. Perhaps the time has come to say we will no longer pay taxes until our authorities restore law and order and close the borders to Muslim integration.

Why this should be a surprise to anyone makes no sense - socialism is at best a Ponzi scheme that eventually runs out of victims. It may take decades, but the outcomes are always the same. Ah, yes, but in socialism, the political class always has their power and position protected by enforced lack of competition — and the political class also gets to make every decision. And that’s all that matters to them...until of course everything spins out of control, then they take the fruits of their corruption and are the first to get out of Dodge. You’ll find them with their predecessors in a nice bungalow on Aruba.
The Swedish socialism model was collapsing anyway, as even the hard-headed Swedes figured out they could live well without working, but the importation of hundreds of thousands of Muslim criminal fanatics whose only goal is to destroy the West have speeded up the collapse signifigantly. It remains to be seen if Sweden has to national willpower to save itself. In a way, it’s a test case for the rest of Europe (and us).
Totally correct. reading your post made me think of Fred Barnes and his constant cheerleading for immigration, legal and illegal. If we were being overrun with mediocre RINO TV talking heads, Fred would be outraged.

From other posts on this thread, apparently Muslims are about 4% of the Swedish population. And it’s enough to cause societal collapse.

If the very reason for allowing them in is to utilize them as a workforce for an aging population, to pay their entitlement benefits in their old age...then why is Europe allowing this foreign immigrants to set up residence and DRAW benefits, rather than work to support older Europeans?!

I may be wrong but this could be something new. I used to think that the Euros would be content to spend their abundance of leisure time in their cafes with N. African Muslims waiting on their tables, repairing their infrastructures, and cleaning their streets until the Pension System collapsed. But now they are beginning to existentially experience the reality of being robbed, raped and murdered by imported savages in their once-safe villages and towns. For the first time they are getting the sense of being a besieged class in their own country. Survival is still the strongest instinct and it may shake the Euros out of their socialistic torpor and force them to face reality - and take control of the situation.
Correct me if I’m wrong, folks, but in the Arab/Muslim culture, rape isn’t that big of a deal. It’s kind of like a misdemeanor for them, if that much.

Fred Barnes was disgraceful. Before the amnesty bill went down to defeat he tried to intimate that those of us who opposed amnesty were xenophobes, racists, or worse. I sent him a fax suggesting he read the comprehensive, scholarly, and definitive studies on the subject by Robert Rector of Heritage - and educate and inform himself. Even his partner Bill Kristol was too embarrassed to act so shamelessly.
But I think the point is more demographic - the native population is aging and not reproducing which means the fertile Islamic population is increasing exponentially. Did you see the date in the article when Malmo in Sweden will be predominantly Muslim? Besides, it only takes 19 to bring down a World Trade Center.
I really don’t know but I assume that if, according to shar’ia, you get your hand lopped off for stealing a cocoanut, EVERYTHING is rather routine! IIRC, Ben Franklin had put his finger on the problem even earlier: egalitarian democracy is a wonderful idea right up until the moment when the unsuccessful poor realize that they can vote themselves a bounty simply by passing laws to confiscate the wealth of the successful rich.
