Maybe they thought it was morally wrong but as a policy decision felt it should be legal, as outlawing the practice might be more problematic.
I just read EEE’s post (#38) and I guess I am wrong. Just tried to give him the benefit of the doubt - and it turned out precisely the way that usually turns out. Whenever I try to be nice in spite of everything, it fails. I don’t like him anyway. There: I said it.
