Can someone who knows for sure, please explain to me why I was able to get nowhere with a complaint I had about a 4th degree Knight publicly supporting John Kerry?

Was the Knight in question supporting Kerry in public while referencing (or otherwise demonstrating) that he was a 4th Degree Knight (or Knight at all)?

This is key.

The Knights do not engage in partisan politics. It’s a core tenet of the Order. We will not support candidates - but we will take positions on issues. You will not ever see the Knights endorse a candidate as an organization.

If the Knight in question was using the Order in his support of Kerry...then he was wrong. You can complain - but this is a tough road to travel, as it’s a difficult thing to prove.
