(CBS) Poll: Americans More Optimistic On Surge

According to a new CBS News poll, Americans have become somewhat more optimistic about the impact of the troop surge in Iraq. The poll, released Monday, shows that 29 percent of respondents now believe that the surge is having a positive impact, an increase of 10 percentage points from last month.

Who are these people who sway at the slightest breeze change? I am glad they are finally coming to their senses but their behavior during this war is reason enough to question the concept of “universal suffrage”.

with those ratings....who will ever hear it????

The L/MSM may actually fear that general Petrouse will make a solid enough statement as to why the surge is producing adequate results, that they will start to ease off a bit.
With the Internet now being a ready source of news and commentary, the main players realize more Americans and Europeans etc., now do not relie on them as their primary news.
They can only hold back so much. And with the really sorry assed displays being brought on by the Demowits both on the hill and the demowit presidential debates, they may fear many Americans may just vote republican this time around.
