Dhakil Qassim, mayor of Sinjar, a town near where the attacks occurred, said al-Qaida in Iraq was behind the attack, citing what he said were Kurdish government intelligence reports.

A few hours after an attack the mayor of a town get's to read Kurdish intelligence reports!!?? Even more so the area of the attack wasn't in Kurdish territory. This sounds like BS.

“At least 175 people were killed when three suicide bombers driving fuel tankers attacked a town in northern Iraq on Tuesday.

Iraqi army Captain Mohammad al-Jaad said at least another 200 people were wounded in the bombings in separate Yazidi neighbourhoods in the town of Kahtaniya, west of Mosul.”
