For me, Mitt is the man (unless Fred can sway me towards him).
Mitt is the candidate the Dims fear the most.
Mitt is the most DISliked Republican candidate. One recent poll had 46% of likely voters saying there was No Chance they would vote for him.
He is the only major presidential candidate with higher negative approval ratings than positive.
I like Fred a lot as well, but I jsut don’t think he’s going to be able to cut it.
He’d make a better VP, less face time, less stress.
If the Presidential campaign was a beauty contest I would be a Mitt fan. But it’s not.
“For me, Mitt is the man (unless Fred can sway me towards him).”
Agreed.
You said: Mitt is the candidate the Dims fear the most.
I say: Can you just see Hillary on the stage debating Mitt Romney?
nuf said.
Not according to the one with whom I spoke. He told me that Romney's Mormonism will keep lots of evangelicals from voting for him and unlike Giuliani, Romney will not attract large numbers of moderates, because again his Mormonism will scare them off.
Agree 1000 percent.
Sharp wit.
Fast on his feet.
Command of the issues.
Good solid conservative.
Mitt Romney is, politically and oratorically speaking, everything GWB is not.
And if he changed his mind on a few issues several years ago, so what. SO DID I.
What the hey. I rolled out of high school acting like a flaming robot-liberal, accusing conservatives and Republicans (and Democrats also) of being stiff 'rednecks.'
“Mitt is the candidate the Dims fear the most.”
I agree. I hope he makes it to being the nominee because, from what I’ve seen, he’s by far the best capable of handing Hillary’s head to her in the general debate. I’m sure the Dems know that.
