“Obama went on to suggest that Saudi Arabia and China could somehow be persuaded to fill the vacuum left after a pullout of U.S. forces from Iraq. He also signaled he would subordinate U.S. interests to United Nations concerns.

“I want to go before the United Nations and say, ‘America’s back. And we’re back ready to lead by our example, so we’re going to work with you, not only on terrorism and nuclear proliferation, but we’re going to work with you on climate change’ “ and other issues.”

stuff like this just leaves me with my mouth open.

You beat me to it. This idiot wants the US to “lead by example” by cowering in fear before the mighty UN. Newsflash: Short of comitting mass suicide, the US is NEVER going to be “liked” by the UN.
