MOST Americans just don’t get it.
They are weakened by political correctness which teaches that all sociities and cultures are morally equivalent, that the west is an evil, over-aggressive predator, and denied the benefit of a balanced historical education.
Ergo, they think Islam is just another religion instead of a killer cult founded by a murdering, enslaving desert bandit who enjoined his followers to emulate his example in spreading his “faith” and dealing with “non-believers”.
There is an immense gulf between Moses, Christ, Buddha, Confucius, Zoroaster, etc, on one side and Mohammad on the other. They operated in entirely different planes.
