When things are done outside the states or the western world the quality control is severely lacking but than I think it was starting faulter here now that the liberal seem to have filled these positions in the work place!

The cost cutters in China are showing their hand. Kindof like when the cost cutters in the US decided to send manufacturing to “the middle kingdom”. We reap what we sow.

Thai food ,IMHO, is the the alpha and omega of great dining. China should be ashamed for doing anything to harm it.

When you go to Chiang Saen or Chiang Khong, the produce stands along the river have tons of very cheap and good looking apples, Asian pears and mushrooms (fresh and dried). The venders from the morning markets in Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Phrae, etc. can get their good far more conveniently and cheaply than from the small Thai farmers. Wal Mart Asian style. These goods show up in village markets where once only local good were sold.
